Family vacation@Bangkok 1

This was my first family trip to Bangkok. It has been very hard to get my dad to go oversea or even local trip. This time I bought the ticket first without telling him, which I think it is a good trick to force my dad to go for holiday.. hehehe..

We reach Bangkok in the afternoon, and everyone was so so hungry and we when to a near by mall for lunch. The tom yam kung is really very very nice. I'm so so hungry until forget to take the food pictures :)

Then, we when shopping and in the evening we when back to hotel for rest.. really so so tired lo :D
Next day we when for a half day tour to Chao Phraya river and boat tour which we can see Bangkok cityscape, temples and we stop at Wat Arun. Besides that, we when to Gems gallery and Four face buddha. Then, we when for shopping again and jalan jalan at night market as well.. hehe..

On third day, we when for one day tour to floating market, cobra show, elephant show, crocodiles show and Thai culturer show. Then, at night we when for Calypso Cabaret show at Asia Hotel. This show was recommended by the hotel staff, they told us this is one of the ‘Must Go’ place when you are in Bangkok. Even it is topless, the show was very professional and worth a visit. New experience ya.. hahahah...
Here are only the floating market pictures.. to lazy to load the others.. to be continue ya.. hehe...

tuesdays with Morrie

Every time I'm in book shop for sure will end up with Malay books. First time, I walked in the book shop, I saw the book and I know this is the book I want to buy.
Someone who is still wise and full with philoshophies before his death.
His courage...
His patient...
His wisdom...
His sorrow...
His acceptance...
His living funeral...
His in-between...
His final lessons in how to live...
A pleasant book for free time reading :)

- Copied from tuesdays with Morrie, by Mitch Albom published in 1997 -

"Accept what you are able to do and what you are not able to do. Accept the past as past, without denying it or discarding it. Learn to forgive yourself and to forgive others. Don't assume that its to late to get involved."

"Life is a series of pulls back & forth. You want to do one thing but you are bound to do something else. Something hurt you, yet you know it shouldn't. You take certain thing for granted, even when you know you should never take anything for granted."

"So many people walk around with a meaningless life. They seem half-asleep, even when they're are busy doing things they think are important. This is because they're chasing the wrong things. The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to the community around you, and to devote yourself to creating something that give you purpose and meaning."

"If you really listen to that bird on your shoulder, if you accept that you can die at any time - then you might not be as ambitious as you are."

"Love each other or perish."

Trip to Pune, India

I just came back from India. There were new experiences that I have faced, see and learn. Sometimes I think it’s good for us to go places that still not develop and poor. Sometimes we tend to forgot, demand and not appreciating what we have. After this trip I have learn to appreciate things I have, learn to move forward, learn to live happily, learn not to demand too much, learn to love people who care for me, learn to care for others, and ..............

In Pune there is still a nice garden with nice flowers. I really like the flowers, it's very beautiful :)
